James D. Ely, DDS
Dr. James D. Ely joined the team in 1998. He believes that the key to overall health is to maintain good dental health.
“The gentler and more patient I am, the more likely patients will keep their appointments and maintain good dental health. My goal is to provide everyone who walks through our doors with the best dental care, modern technology, and patient education."
A native of Avon Lake, Ohio, Dr. Ely sees patients of all ages and works hard to provide a family-oriented environment. Dr. Ely and his wife Traci have two children, Madisen and Andrew.
Community Service
Dr. Ely is an active member of the Circleville First Church of Christ in Christian Union. He also serves as a junior and senior high school assistant softball coach and as a summer league baseball and softball coach.
Education and Professional Associations
A graduate of Avon Lake High School, Dr. Ely went on to attend both Ohio University and Ohio State. He graduated from Ohio University in 1993 and The Ohio State University College of Dentistry in 1997. Dr. Ely served his internship at the Coshocton Dental Clinic from 1997 to1998.
Dr. Ely is an active member of the American Dental Association and the Hocking Valley Dental Society.
Interests and Hobbies
While spending time with his family, Dr. Ely enjoys golf, softball, basketball, reading, and hiking. He also coaches soccer and enjoys riding his motorcycle, snow skiing, and traveling.
Lisa D. Dubos, DDS
Dr. Lisa D. Dubos joined Dr. Ely in 2000. Dr. Dubos believes that the key to overall health is to maintain good dental health.

With a primary goal of changing patients’ perception of dentistry, Dr. Dubos strives to put her patients at ease and to help them understand that the dental experience no longer has to be a fearful one.
Dr. Dubos grew up in East Palestine, Ohio, and she and her husband, John, are kept busy caring for their dogs, Leo and Archie. John is also a dentist and practices in Grove City.
Community Service
Dr. Dubos serves as a worship leader for the Grove City United Methodist Church, and is president of the Pinnacle Ladies Association at Pinnacle Golf Club. Previously, Dr. Dubos also served as a Circle of Caring board member, program coordinator for the Angel Tree Ministry, chair of Pickaway Health Services, and has provided free dental care through the Mission of Mercy Project in Parkersburg, West Virginia,
Education and Professional Associations
Dr. Dubos graduated from East Palestine High School and went on to attend both Youngstown State University and The Ohio State University. In 1995, Dr. Dubos graduated from Youngstown State in 1995 and earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree (DDS) from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry in 2000.
Dr. Dubos is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Ohio Dental Association, the Columbus Dental Society, the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Association of Women Dentists, and the American Society of Forensic Odontology. She is also a member of the Sfumato Dental Study Club.
Interests and Hobbies
Dr. Dubos enjoys traveling, reading, and entertaining.
Brian M. Stewart, DDS
Dr. Stewart joined Drs. Ely and Dubos in May 2015. He believes that the key to overall health is to maintain good dental health.
“It is my goal to have every patient that walks into our office walk out with better oral health. I believe the best thing I can do is to educate our patients about prevention and proper home care.”
With a goal of educating and caring for his patients in such a way that each one feels special, Dr. Stewart is excited to reacquaint with friends and family as he welcomes new and existing patients.
Dr. Stewart was born and raised in Circleville, Ohio. He and his wife Whitney, also a Circleville native, reside in southern Pickaway County with their daughter Madison and son Blake.
Community Service
Dr. Stewart regularly volunteers at the Hope Dental Clinic in Chillicothe, and has served in Circleville Sunrise Rotary. He also volunteers with the Pickaway County Department of Health, administering hundreds of COVID-19 vaccines to Pickaway county residents during the pandemic.
Education and Professional Associations
A graduate of Circleville High School, Dr. Stewart began his college career at Miami University in Oxford. He then completed his undergraduate degree at Ohio State, graduating with magna cum laude honors with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology. Subsequently, Dr. Stewart was accepted into the Ohio State University College of Dentistry, where he received his doctorate in 2015. He completed his internship at the Chillicothe VA Dental Clinic in 2014 and 2015.
Dr. Stewart is an active member of the American Dental Association, Ohio Dental Association, and the Rehwinkel Dental Society.
Interests and Hobbies
Dr. Stewart enjoys working in his yard, going to the movies, and spending time with his family. Weekends may also find Dr. Stewart watching his favorite sports teams, including the Reds, Bengals, and Buckeyes.
Teresa
Office Manager
Teresa is our office manager and has been a part of the Ely, Dubos & Stewart dental team since 2008. She enjoys camping, water sports, and spending time with her family.
Mindy
Treatment Coordinator
Mindy joined the office in 2018 and is originally from Laurelville. She graduated from Logan Elm High School and attended the Everest Institute for Dental Assisting. Mindy enjoys watching her husband race, spending time with her family, and shopping.
Shannon
Insurance Coordinator
Shannon joined the office in 2023 and has over 8 years of dental experience. She is originally from Wilmington, Ohio and graduated from Clinton Massie High School, as well as Laurel Oaks Career Development Campus. She enjoys hiking, gardening, and spending time with her husband and dogs.
Cate
Front Desk
Cate joined our team in 2024. She is originally from Circleville, and attended both Circleville High School and Pickaway Ross Career and Technology Center. She enjoys photography, cats, cars, and helping others.
Sarah
Dental Hygienist
Sarah joined our team in 2004. She is originally from Kingston, and graduated from Zane Trace High School. She attended hygiene school at Shawnee State. She enjoys camping, swimming, and gardening.
Brooke
Dental Hygienist
Brooke joined the dental team in 2017. She is from Lima, Ohio and received her bachelor's degree in dental hygiene from Ohio State University in 2013. She has eight years of experience working in dentistry. Brooke enjoys showing horses and spending time with her husband and daughter.
Allie
Dental Hygienist
Allie joined our team in 2021. She grew up in Ashville and graduated from Teays Valley High School. After that, she received her bachelor's degree in dental hygiene from West Liberty University in West Virginia. She enjoys hot yoga, reading, spending time with friends, and playing with her dog Charlie, a Newfie.
Lexie
Dental Hygienist
Lexie joined our team in 2022 and grew up in Woodsfield, Ohio. She graduated from Monroe Central High School and went to hygiene school at Shawnee State. Lexie enjoys board games, dancing, and playing with her mini bernedoodle. She also has an interest in true crime, with a goal of eventually studying forensic dentistry as well.

Dental Assistant
Terri is a dental assistant who has 44 years of dental experience and has been a part of the Ely, Dubos & Stewart dental team since 1977. Terri is a graduate of Hayes Tech CDA school. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends as well as traveling.
Michaella
Dental Assistant
Michaella has been a part of the Ely, Dubos & Stewart dental team since 2022. Originally from Circleville, she graduated from Logan Elm High School and attended First Impression Dental Assisting. She enjoys fishing, camping, watching sports, and spending time with her husband and boys.
Kelly
Expanded Functions Dental Assistant
Kelly began working for Drs. Ely, Dubos & Stewart in 2022. A graduate of OSU with 32 years of dental experience, Kelly serves as an Expanded Function Dental Assistant who specializes in the placement of dental fillings. She is originally from Chillicothe and attended Paint Valley High School. She enjoys camping, crafting, and side by side riding.
Teresa
Expanded Functions Dental Assistant
Teresa joined the office in 2024 and has over 50 years of experience in the dental field. She is originally from Sciotoville, Ohio, and attended East High School. In addition she also attended Scioto Joint Vocational School, as well as the Ohio State EFDA program for further dental assistant training. She enjoys yard work, biking, and hiking.
